Making Magic Through Music

Bel Voce , under the leadership of artistic director Dr. Teresa R. Bowers, is a leading edge choral ensemble comprised of experienced auditioned singers from the South Central Pennsylvania region. Dedicated to engaging singers and audiences in skilled performances of a diverse choral repertoire, Bel Voce provides a series of concerts each season designed to reach audiences from a wide range of ages and backgrounds through music that educates, entertains and feeds the soul.

Bel Voce has performed with gifted guest artists including former Chanticleer countertenorJay White, noted classical guitarist Georgia Cavallaro, tenors Richard Kennedy and Jeffrey Fahnestock, and harpist Elizabeth Asmus. As an active participant in the life of the community, Bel Voce has performed in benefits for the Middletown Area Music Fest scholarship program, the South Central Aids Assistance Network and Keystone Service Systems. We periodically sponsor a scholarship program for area high school seniors pursuing a career in music. Bel Voce recognizes the value of our senior citizens through its Community Outreach program by providing low cost tickets to residents of area retirement and nursing homes.
